Generally speaking transitions and turnarounds are characterized by a critical situation as a consequence of bad performance, a crisis or a high-impact change e.g. a post-merger integration.

Each of these situations require essentially the right people and expertise to lead the organization through this process.

From a business and (process-)organizational point of view, the company/business unit is scanned to assess the health of the core activities and the alignment of all other activities with those core activities.

Together with the stakeholders a strategic plan is developed which could be based on different concepts or approaches (Balanced Scorecard, Oswalder business modelling, …) depending on the specific needs and situation.
